Refund policy

1. Overview
This policy applies to paid job postings, featured listings, premium listings and promotional products bought through USTaxJobs.
2. Before publication
If an employer pays for a listing but it has not yet been approved or published, USTaxJobs may reject the listing, ask for changes, or issue a refund if the role is not suitable for the site.
3. Published listings
Published advertisements are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed by USTaxJobs. This is because the purchased service includes review, publication, listing space, visibility and availability on the job board.
4. Rejected listings
If a paid listing is rejected before publication because it is not relevant, is misleading, appears to be spam, breaches posting rules, or raises compliance concerns, USTaxJobs may issue a refund or contact the employer to resolve the issue.
5. Employer errors
If an employer submits incorrect information, we will usually try to make reasonable factual edits during the 6-week listing period. Refunds are not normally given because of employer typos, changes in hiring plans, filled roles, duplicate submissions, or failure to provide a working application link.
6. Site errors
If USTaxJobs makes a material error that prevents a paid listing from being published or displayed as agreed, we may offer a correction, extension, credit, partial refund, or full refund depending on the circumstances.
7. How to request a refund
Email billing@ustaxjobs.com with the company name, job title, payer email, Stripe receipt reference if available, and the reason for the request. We may ask for further information before deciding the request.
8. VAT
Where VAT is applicable, VAT will be added to the advertised fee and included on the final invoice.
Employers and recruiters are responsible for providing accurate billing information and VAT details during checkout.
Any VAT treatment will be determined based on the information supplied and applicable tax legislation.
Refunds relating to VAT will be handled in accordance with applicable tax laws and invoicing requirements.
9. Timing
Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method through Stripe. Payment provider processing times may vary.
