Reporting to the Tax Accountants and Tax Management, you will function as an assistant on larger, more complex US tax engagements.
Under the direction of the Tax Accountant and Management you will assist with the carrying out of detailed US tax work, as necessary.
Applicants must possess an Accounting or Finance related Bachelor's Degree and it would be highly advantageous to have a Masters in Taxation.
This position requires 6 - 12 months proven experience in public accounting and/or relevant US Tax experience. In addition, this position requires applicants to be currently enrolled in a CPA or another Chartered Accountancy designation program or be willing to pursue this upon commencement of employment.
Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft applications. THis position requires strong organisational skills, good initiative and the ability to work simultaneously on several projects.
Applicants should demonstrate strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
This position will require high levels of overtime during peak periods.
