Responsibilities
The successful UK/US Tax Manager will be assisting in the management of the Private Client Tax group, the largest of their US tax teams.
Specifically, you’ll be:
- Managing a large and varied portfolio of clients with complex US and/or UK tax affairs.
- As a US/UK Tax Manager, you will be assisting with the management of all aspects of the tax compliance process and wider relationship management.
- You will be given a client list to manage and support under the overall support of a Senior Manager.
- Ensuring complex returns are accurately reviewed.
- Offered a substantial amount of Advisory work (they're growing a new dedicated tax advisory team).
- Working with Tax Associates and Senior Tax Associates to ensure work is appropriately delegated and client deadlines are met.
Job Requirements
- 5-8 years US and UK (dual handler) individual tax experience; or US only individual tax experience; or US corporate tax experience with a Big 4 or boutique firm serving international clients
- US CPA or Enrolled Agent. ATT is desirable for dual handler roles, but not essential.
- Strong technical knowledge
- Ability to work in the UK preferred, but not essential
