We advise our clients on US foreign reporting rules so they can meet their compliance responsibilities across a wide range of areas, including captive insurance, hedge fund and private equity reporting.
The successful candidate will assist the U.S. Tax Partner(s) and Director(s) in fulfilling functions that require a high level of tax knowledge, understanding and judgment.
The role includes supervision and review of FATCA ad CRS Returns; overseeing due diligence processes, conducting entity classification reviews, and health checks for trusts, partnerships and corporations.
The role will involve research assignments requiring review of Cayman Law, regulations, and guidance notes in relation to FATCA, CRS, CbCR, and Economic Substance; advising and assisting clients in completing their registration requirements with the Cayman Islands Tax Information authority; advising a wide range of U.S. taxation issues including reviewing tax memorandums and U.S. tax law research; development of the U.S. tax practice in the area of FATCA, CRS, CbCR, Economic Substance, and any other Tax related advisory matters.
