Job Description
Tax Analyst - The person supports Managers in preparation/review of all tax (excluding indirect and payroll) compliance, tax accounting, forecasting and tax function activities, required to meet the Company's internal and external tax obligations in US and non-US jurisdictions.

Responsibilities
- Primary responsibilities include the following related to Tax Compliance:
- 1 – 2 years of experience working in US Tax environment
- US Federal Corporate Income tax returns including all related schedules, statements and elections. (Form 1120)
- Book to tax differences which could include LIFO, 263a, depreciation, R&D, reserve analysis, executive compensation.
- US Partnership tax returns. (Form 1065)
- US State Income tax returns.
- US International Forms 5471, 8858.
- US Federal quarterly estimated tax payments.
- Research and monitor issues and changes in federal income tax laws.
- Assist with tax audits (federal and state) including preparing and defending information-request responses and Company-proposed audit adjustments
- Proactively identify tax and accounting issues with suggestions for possible solutions for improvement.
- Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as necessary.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in accounting / MBA Finance
- At least 2 years of experience, preferably in an accounting field/US Tax Compliance.
- Good knowledge and experience in income tax accounting (ASC 740 and FIN48), including a mixture of Big 4 and industry experience.
- Strong accounting skills with interest to learn US and Non-US direct tax compliance.
- Strong communication skills
- Strong computer skills including an intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Awareness of other taxes in the US
- Ability to read, interpret and apply the tax legislation
